  • Photos (profile, full, family, selfie)
  • Education, occupation, income, location, address
  • Religion, caste, mother tongue, marital status, height, and other match details
  • Family details
  • About me / about family

Horoscope / birth details (if you provide them)

  • Time of birth, place of birth, latitude, longitude, timezone

Verification documents (if you upload them)

  • ID images such as Aadhaar front/back, or similar documents used for verification

Usage and device

  • Login activity, device type, app version, IP address, and approximate location used for security

Payments

  • Plan / service purchase details
  • Payment is processed by Razorpay. We do not store your full card or UPI PIN. Razorpay may collect payment data under their own policy.

Enquiries

  • Name, phone, email, subject, and message when you contact us from Help & Support or the website

2. How we use your information

We use your data to:

  • Create and manage your matrimony profile
  • Show matching profiles and enable interest, chat, and favourites
  • Provide horoscope matching where you have given birth details
  • Process subscriptions and service payments
  • Verify profiles and reduce fake or misuse cases
  • Send OTP, account, match, and support messages
  • Improve the app, website, and customer support
  • Meet legal and regulatory requirements

We do not sell your personal data.

3. Profile visibility

Other members may see the profile information you choose to share, based on your visibility settings. Sensitive items (such as phone number, documents, or full horoscope) are shown only as allowed by our product rules and your settings.

You are responsible for the information and photos you upload.

4. Sharing of information

We may share information with:

  • Other members, as needed for matching (as per your profile and settings)
  • Payment partners (Razorpay) to complete a payment
  • IT / hosting / SMS / email service providers who help us run the service
  • Legal or government authorities if required by law
  • Our office staff, only as needed to provide support

We do not share your data with unrelated third-party advertisers for their independent marketing.

5. Data storage and security

We store data on secure servers and use reasonable technical and organisational measures (access control, encrypted connections, and restricted staff access).

No online service is 100% secure. Please keep your OTP, login, and device protected.

6. How long we keep data

We keep your data while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. After deletion or long inactivity, we may retain limited records for legal, fraud-prevention, or accounting reasons, then delete or anonymise them where possible.

Uploaded documents used only for verification may be stored for verification and safety purposes.

7. Your choices and rights

You may:

  • View and edit your profile in the app
  • Change profile visibility settings
  • Contact us to request account deletion or a copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent for optional data such as horoscope details by removing them from your profile

This service is only for adults eligible to marry under applicable Indian law. We do not knowingly allow underage users.
